Baby Jason was the sweetest little guy, and it was such a joy capturing these early days for his family.
A Relaxed Lifestyle Newborn Session at Home
Unlike posed studio sessions, in-home newborn photography sessions focus on real moments and genuine connection.
When I arrived at their home in Easton, the atmosphere was calm, warm, and full of that quiet excitement that comes with welcoming a new baby.
Their home had the most beautiful natural light and neutral tones — the perfect backdrop for timeless photos. Instead of elaborate props or setups, the focus stayed where it belongs: on the love between this new family.
Baby Jason was calm and curious throughout the session, giving us plenty of sweet moments to capture.
Including the Whole Family (Even the Dog!)
One of my favorite parts of lifestyle sessions is making sure the entire family is included — and that absolutely means pets.
Their yellow lab, Mia, was such a gentle and loyal presence during the session. She stayed close by and clearly already adores her new baby brother. Including Mia in a few photos made the session feel even more authentic to their everyday life.
Pets are such an important part of the family story, and I always encourage families to include them when possible.
Capturing the Early Days with Baby Jason
Those first weeks and months with a new baby are filled with quiet, meaningful moments — tiny hands wrapped around a parent’s finger, the way parents look at their baby, and the soft routines of early parenthood.
